Works in the Collections/Risk Avoidance Operations environment and is responsible for resolving delinquencies through inbound/outbound collections phone calls. Primary responsibilities are collections for late stage delinquent home loans, providing world class customer service through effective communication and negotiation skills. Typical customer interactions will require reviewing delinquency patterns, identifying types of loans and resolution options, reviewing a customer's income and expenses. Calls will likely include some form of debt counseling (sharing ways to cut monthly expenses) and may include repayment arrangements to bring delinquent accounts current (cure). Collectors will work with customers to understand mortgage terms, bring accounts current by paying all outstanding payments, assist with research issues and provide loan reinstatement figures as well as develop repayment plans or recommend workout options Part time hours Sun-Thurs 6pm-12am
